Dr Sharmalie Atukorala


MBBS,MRCGP(UK), FRACGP, DAME Australia
General Practitioner


Dr Sharmalie Atukorala is a GP from London,UK and has been practicing in Melbourne Airport Health Clinic since July 2018. Dr Atukorala is a specialist GP (Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) and her areas of interest are travellers' health, women's health including pregnancy care and sexual health/family planning.


"I have a real passion in helping young women with family planning, in particular, with all types of contraception including copper coils, Mirena IUD and Implanon."


"I am committed to guide and support our patients' journey with high standards of medical care."


Dr Kasra Taghian



MD (Melb), FRACGP, DAME Australia General Practitioner



I'm passionate about aviation medicine and am a CASA certified Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME). Additionally, I have strong interests in travel health, occupational health, and preventative medicine.



Patrick Kubel



Physiotherapist



Patrick has over 10 years’ experience in rehabilitation and injury management. He has worked as a qualified personal trainer as well as an accredited exercise physiologist in the injury rehabilitation industry.


Patrick has also worked with elite level athletes including the men’s and women’s NSW volleyball teams.



Priyantha Neomal



Practice Manager



Priyantha has been the practice manager of Melbourne Airport Health Clinic since 2018. With his friendly nature, he strives to create a positive experience for every patient who comes to the clinic.
